New position as Administrative Coordinator

Administrative Coordinator
The Royal Danish Embassy (RDE) is seeking to recruit an administrative  Coordinator for the administrative team at the Embassy. The specific duties will be agreed upon once a candidate has been selected.

Expected responsibilities:
- Coordinating work in the secretariat and logistics team
- Liaising between the logistics team and Embassy staff
- Participate in the protocol duties, including writing official correspondence to the Kenyan authorities such as Note Verbales to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Fill out relevant applications regarding the Embassy and its members of staff
- Take part in reception and secretarial duties
- Back up in visa section
- Back up in HR matters

Person specifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- 10 years or more working experience in secretarial, administrative and protocol tasks
- Experience with managing smaller teams
- Diploma/degree in business management or any related course
- Office Management training
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision
- Ability to cope with a lot of different tasks at the same time
- Flexible and a team player
- Service minded
- Fluency in spoken and written English
