Poland and Denmark agree on strengthening their political cooperation

On April 13th 2015 the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Poland and Denmark, Grzegorz Schetyna and Martin Lidegaard, agreed on a Joint Communiqué on Cooperation between the two neighbouring nations. Poland and Denmark already enjoy strong ties after years of peaceful coexistence and close cooperation bilaterally and within the European Union.

The Joint Communiqué will to strengthen this cooperation. The aim of the Joint Communiqué is to promote both trade and culture and the cooperation will include areas such as digitalization, labour and social affairs, innovative and creative industries, spatial planning, environment and energy. Furthermore, the Joint Communiqué is a tool and a platform to improve the already strong ties between the two nations and joint efforts in a number of ways.
