The Danish Embassy in Nairobi is a Regional Visa Hub and as such receive applications for residence and work permit for Denmark, Faroe Islands, Greenland and Iceland from applicants with legal stay in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

Please note that the Embassy only cooperates with VFS Global. The Embassy has no connections or agreements with sellers outside the premises of the Embassy or VFS Global who offer services for payment. No seller can influence either the processing period or the decision.

Important information regarding the New East African Community Passport for Rwanda

Schengen visas can only be issued to visa applicants that hold passports that have been recognized by the Schengen country issuing the visa. As per standard procedures, all new passports of third countries undergo an assessment and verification process by relevant Danish authoirties in order to be considered valid for entry to Denmark. until the process has been concluded, Denmark cannot process visa applications or issue a Schengen visa to visa applicants from Rwanda holding the new EAC passport. The Danish Visa Application Centres will be notified when the process has been concluded.
